Dr. John A. 'Jac' Coad became pastor of Trinity Church in 2004, after 25 years of pastoral experience in Memphis, TN and Concord, NC. Dr. Coad said, "It is such a blessing to be associated with Trinity Presbyterian Church which has such a strong Bible-based ministry. I am excited about the prospects for the future as Trinity continues to reach out and invite our neighbors to Jesus Christ and into His Church." Pastor Coad's wife, Debbie, is a teacher at Libertas Academy in Tampa. They have four children and one grandchild. The Coad's started a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Concord, NC. Dr. Coad graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, with a BA in Philosophy, Reformed Theological Seminary with a M. Div. in 1979, and a Doctorate of Ministry in 1996. He taught as an Adjunct Professor at Montreat College in NC and has served on many boards and committees on the Presbytery and Synod levels. Jac was honored by the Associate Reformed Church to be elected Vice-Moderator in 1997, the same year his father, Rev. James Coad, Jr., served as Moderator.
